The Neighborhood Watch Program, which is an integral part of the program, has become a very good program under the direction of citizen volunteers at the direction of Robert and Linda Hoffman. They are producing a newsletter and a very good program.
The Crime Prevention Program is designed to assist citizens and business owners with a variety of activities such as the Block Home Program, Neighborhood Watch, Senior Citizen Safety, Women's Self Defense, Anti-Shoplifting, Home/Business Security Surveys, Baby Sitting Classes, and a variety of other assistance programs.
The program is funded through donations with a minimum of other funding coming from the Police Department budget.
The Officer in The School Program also uses a large amount of the resources for this program.
